The evening is always a special one for us, for lots of reasons.
As one of the CCBA’s Gold Sponsors we spend many months creating a unique look for each year’s event, working alongside the organisers to invite nominations, promote the ceremony and create a fresh set of visuals for use across multiple media on the night. After all that effort it’s great for our team to be able to see their ideas come to fruition.
But, more importantly, it’s wonderful to see the businesses we partner with being recognised for the hard work they’ve put in and the success they’ve achieved. Both Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa (Tourism) and Traiteur of Merivale (Retail/Hospitality) won their categories – just reward for two businesses who consistently do an outstanding job.
The night was also an amazing advertisement for the skills and capabilities of Vbase, another of our clients. From the stunning venue to the attentive staff and the mouth-watering food they didn’t miss a beat, hosting the country’s largest business awards ceremony with consummate professionalism.
A huge congratulations must go to the team at Champion Canterbury Ltd who continue to set the bar for business awards throughout the country. Leeann Watson (Director of the Awards) and Julianna Malone (Awards Manager), along with their team, work tirelessly to put on the event, which, in its 13th year, attracted a record 196 entries and was attended by a host of dignitaries including Prime Minister John Key.
All in all, it was a fantastic occasion – a fabulous way to applaud the spirit and pride of businesses throughout Canterbury, and a good excuse for us to let our hair down!
