Then there’s the other side of the equation – the various clients we partner with who are based outside of Christchurch, many of whom are scattered all over the globe.
That includes Zinpro, a multi-national company who specialise in performance minerals and nutrition for animals. Their home, and the site of their huge manufacturing plant, is in Minnesota, USA, but they also have a significant presence in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
We started working with Zinpro way back in 1997 – the same year Mike Tyson bit Evander Holyfield’s ear and JK Rowling published the first Harry Potter book.
Since then we’ve done everything from brochures and flyers to event invitations and translation work. Ninety-nine percent of the time we work remotely, with a constant stream of emails and regular Skype meetings allowing us to provide seamless support around the clock.
But recently Renee Elley, our lead creative on Zinpro, had the opportunity to travel to Abu Dhabi to attend VIV MEA, an annual international trade show that always marks an important date on the Zinpro calendar.
This was a great chance for Renee to put faces to the names she uses on a daily basis, and to see some of the work we create right here in Christchurch on display for the world to see.
