When FreshChoice came to us their current website was in desperate need of a new look and design. It was built on an outdated platform that made administering the site a nightmare. A detailed discovery process gave us the opportunity to revisit their online presence as well as explore what their customers really wanted. We identified that customers were after way more than just the weekly groceries. Recipe inspiration, tagged content, collection pages and promotion made up some of customers key requirements. We designed a new site structure for intuitive navigation, and useful content for customers centred around food and recipes. With interaction and animation design, mixed content and variable grid layouts, the new site has been a hit with both customers and admin staff.
The new FreshChoice website comes with some welcome improvements; a visually appealing site that fits the brand, a foodie haven for articles and recipes with mouth-watering imagery used far and wide. Better search functionality and filtering for relevant content. Search Engine Optimisation means the website will perform better in Google search. Once a customer selects a store to view the mailer, the website remembers this selection, thus improving their experience. A convenient newsletter sign up form on the bottom of every page helps with getting more and more customers to engage with.
