Mt Lyford Lodge
Established in 2001, Mt Lyford Lodge is a unique log cabin-style alpine retreat, situated amongst the foothills of the stunning Inland Kaikoura mountain range. Following a recent acquisition, the new owners were keen to update the image and breathe new life into the brand. Our approach was to position the lodge as a unique, premium alpine destination. Where great hospitality, great food and awe-inspiring scenery all feed into a truly unforgettable alpine experience.
Located just 90 minutes north of Christchurch, and 45 minutes from Kaikoura and Hanmer Springs, the lodge is one of the largest buildings of its type in the Southern Hemisphere. It features accommodation, restaurant and bar dining, and a plethora of nature-based activities. It will also soon be home to the Rodin Experience, where visitors can learn the story of visionary Rodin founder David Dicker's FZero racing car – featuring interactive displays, real-life prototypes and scale models and more.
