We’ve addressed the barriers, grown awareness and increased demand for fibre broadband throughout the region.
Owned 100% by the Christchurch City Council, the Enable ultra-fast Fibre Broadband Network is the city’s very own fibre network. Launched in 2007, it now serves more than 75% of homes and 90% of businesses, with the city-wide roll-out on target for completion by the end of 2018.
Keeping our city connected
We’ve worked alongside the Enable team since 2011, providing marketing support that encompasses everything from design and advertising to media booking and digital marketing. We also designed and developed a brand new website, creating custom tools to help customers find out if fibre is available in their area, and, if not, when it will be.
Your fibre, your future
Enable’s circumstances have changed a lot since we first started working with them. When we started out they were still establishing a relationship with the people of Canterbury. Now the roll-out is complete and they’ve become a household name, and the message has evolved accordingly. ‘Your future, your fibre’ celebrates the fact that this is a home-grown, home-owned network providing the infrastructure our city needs to keep pace with the rest of the world.
Take a Kid to Footy
As a company that’s fiercely proud of its roots, it made sense for Enable to align themselves with Christchurch’s favourite sons, the 7-time Super Rugby champion Crusaders! We helped them establish a look and feel for their Take a Kid to Footy sponsorship, promote TAKTF online (through a dedicated micro-site) and brand the giveaway packs the kids get on game day.
Behind the scenes
Our involvement with Enable certainly doesn’t start and finish with outbound marketing. With ‘Enable People’ we worked alongside the team to develop an internal brand; an entity responsible for nurturing the internal culture at this vibrant, fast-paced organisation.
