FFP have been successfully operating in Canterbury since the late 1980s.
A fresh face for FFP
Re-igniting a leading brand Fire Fighting Pacific knew they needed to reignite their brand, but weren’t sure how to go about it. They found us online and sure enough we came up with some hot ideas!
FFP started life in 1980 as Fire Fighting Pacific, designing, installing and monitoring commercial fire protection systems. They’ve gone on to become a market leader, expanding their offering to include Building Warrant of Fitness services and Workplace Safety Training. Three and a half decades on the company needed a new identity which better reflected what it did, and they asked us to help.
Fire Fighting Pacific had been referring to itself internally as FFP for some time, and we recommended changing the brand to the abbreviated name, FFP. With more than 40 vehicles on the road each day, a key consideration was how the new branding would translate to a wide range of vehicle shapes and sizes. These mobile billboards were to be an integral part of the new branding programme.
As a business to business company, the communication channels were well established. Our job was to develop a new brand look and feel across the FFP vehicle fleet and a range of external collateral items. Our aim was to build on the strong heritage in fire protection, while simultaneously creating a platform for growth in the related disciplines of Building Warrant of Fitness and Workplace Training. Bold lettering was used for FFP, supported by a flame device which went from hot to cool – danger to control.
FFP now has a modern new look; one which staff and customers immediately resonated with. The company continues to go from strength to strength.
