Ngāi Tahu Seafood supplies premium New Zealand products to local and global markets – particularly China, where they are looking to expand on their existing base with a new phase of business development.
Our challenge was to transform the “TAHU” brand, which currently has minimal presence and lacks consistency into a compelling marketing proposition; initially for trade, but also with a view to potentially expanding into the consumer/FMCG market in the future.
The refreshed branding and premium packaging is based around New Zealand’s pristine natural identity and intergenerational Ngāi Tahu/Māori mythology.
Following a successful launch it is now helping to forge new food service relationships, creating a corridor for Ngāi Tahu Seafood into the wider Chinese market.
